One-day Mindfulness Meditation Workshop
Date: Saturday 26 November 2011
Location: Laceys Yard, Chesham Bucks. HP5 1BU
This one-day workshop is for people who have some experience of Mindfulness meditation. It will give you the opportunity to devote a whole day to a range of guided meditation practices in a group. In the group we will share our experiences, and especially our blocks and difficulties.
We will also have some time to experience some meditation practices that use the body’s energy system more explicitly, including the chakras. These practices are rooted in Yogic meditation and energy psychology (see my Mindfulness& Mindbalancing Handbook, Speechmark, 2011)
AIT BASICS
TRAUMA SKILLS SEMINAR
December 9th – 11th 2011
9am – 6 pm London Friday - Sunday
with Reinhard Kowalski and Ruthie Smith
These AIT (Advanced Integrative Therapy) Seminars offer three day experiential and practical trainings for mental health professionals (psychotherapists, psychiatrists, psychologists and counsellors) providing skills for working with all kinds of trauma including developmental and situational trauma. Developed by Asha Clinton, a Jungian Analyst, AIT provides a complete, integrative, psychodynamic and body-centred energy depth psychotherapy. Through AIT’s simple and gentle clearing protocols, blockages in the body’s energy system which arise from unresolved traumas (physical, developmental, emotional, psychological and relational) are completely removed. The AIT trauma protocol regulates distressed affect and PTSD, dramatically removing stress held in the body and thereby facilitating wellness. more information

By internally shifting from "doing-mode" into "being-mode" you can develop new ways of responding to the challenges that life presents; deal more effectively with stress and worries; face illness and pain with greater confidence; restore balance; relax more easily; gain more enjoyment in life; become more centred, grounded and peaceful; and improve your ability to focus, concentrate and learn.
This intensive counts as the equivalent of the eight-week part-time course for those who want to take it further and become mindfulness teachers themselves. For more information click here
