AIT BASICS
TRAUMA SKILLS SEMINAR

These AIT (Advanced Integrative Therapy) Seminars offer three day experiential and practical trainings for mental health professionals (psychotherapists, psychiatrists, psychologists and counsellors) providing skills for working with all kinds of trauma including developmental and situational trauma. Developed by Asha Clinton, a Jungian Analyst, AIT provides a complete, integrative, psychodynamic and body-centred energy depth psychotherapy. Through AIT’s simple and gentle clearing protocols, blockages in the body’s energy system which arise from unresolved traumas (physical, developmental, emotional, psychological and relational) are completely removed. The AIT trauma protocol regulates distressed affect and PTSD, dramatically removing stress held in the body and thereby facilitating wellness.

Latest research in biology and neuroscience indicates that AIT may actually create changes at the level of cellular memory and neural pathways, thus clearing patterns of stuck traumatic energy at deep levels and providing profound and lasting relief from emotional pain. AIT is particularly useful in unblocking unhelpful relational patterns, including transgenerational traumas which extend back through the person’s culture and lineage. Through simple and effective method for relieving the effects of trauma, people can overcome self destructive habits, and negative beliefs, and recover from the debilitating long-term impact of sexual and other forms of abuse. The effect of this is to strengthen people’s sense of self, remove triggers and integrate weak ego states, and ease states of mind, such as shame and debilitating anxiety. The unblocking of frozen and stuck states of mind, facilitates clear states of consciousness and awareness. The AIT BASICS seminar will give you the essential tools you need to start applying AIT in your therapy practice. Attending BASICS is a requirement for attending the (new) AIT ATTACHMENT SEMINAR.

FOLLOW UP: Following the training in AIT BASICS there are follow up practice days and telecoms and the AIT MAP (Mastering AIT) seminar, to help you stabilise your practice and become accredited as an AIT practitioner. If you want to go further, there are advanced seminars such as Presence and Dissociation, Attachment Trauma, Depths, Sensitivities and many other seminars where you can further deepen your work
